The perfect match of sound and image, wonder if they made the video or the audio first? I also recommend Its Grim Up North by the KLF. Out of interest I came to that video by looking up william gibson. the funny twists and turns of the internet eh.. (Who am I talking to?)

Harold Pinters' Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech 2005

Brian Eno has spoken of his reluctance as an artist to
meddle with politics. Pinter's assertion is that the
citizen must do so, in order to protect that much-abused
Greek concept "democracy" and its central tenant, the
dignity of man.

In general frontal light leads to flat images with little detail of surface and contour, which appears non-expressive; it is therefore called flat lighting.

barbera kruger + selfridges...

Should we be concerned about the way in which business is reshaping the cultural landscape or should we see private capital as a natural ally of cultural production?

The Soap Box Racer is, like it suggests, inspired on a soap box. The realization of a boyhood dream that brings back the car to it's true essence. The romance of the technique and the accessibility of a four wheeled box you made with your father in the garage.Away with cupholders and dvd players.Take to the road with an open one seater. With the asfalt rushing by underneath and the wind in your hair.

After two years of posting and discussing I think it still would be nice to keep this blog alive as graduates. Of course we have to allow adverts now we have to make money.

PS. Did I tell you I wear NIKE cycling shoes for two years now and they are just the best? NIKE, thats the brand for me, NIKE!

A billboard lovely as a tree.
Indeed, unless the billboards fall
I'll never see a tree at all."

Thursday May 3

Dear All

tomorrow we will start with the first years before Lunch (see running order below). After lunch we will be joined by Daniel West from ICON Magazine for a string of short presentations with a following crit by all second years. As we are many, we'll have to keep every presentation rather brief. You get about 20 to 30 minutes each, so I suggest that you present each project you intend to show in June, talking no more than 3 minutes about each piece, so that enough time is left for discussion and feedback.

Hand-out of directions for the final term / exams to first years

10.30 Claudia
11 BBK
11.30 Nina
12.00 Benjamin

Underworld - Two Months Off

There was a little drawing of a heart next to that,
followed by an exclamation mark.
The back of his was covered in stuff... stuff like:
Brandon is not a very nice guy, but Alex is sooo nice.
And that had the exclamation thing too.
It was just silly crap but it hit the spot. And he let himself be drawn in
